Grocery stop at Capestang

Approaching Capestang; note the spillway on the left

The charming village of Capestang was a nice stop to pick up groceries, including drinking water. We were all going through water due to the heat, working as crew, and staying active. Bottled water was also used for preparing tea and coffee in the morning.

Like most European villages, Capestang has an old stone church and tower located in the heart of the village, surrounded by shops and cafes.
A comfortable cafe is located near the church in Capestang
The village proved to be a nice stop with lots of photo opportunities.

Old cemeteries, with impressive monuments, are often found in many of the countryside villages, including Capestang.
